Evangelism:

This ministry team seeks to encourage the church to reach out to others with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They plan, organize, and train others to share God’s plan of salvation with the lost, promote church attendance, and growth in our Christian walk. This team is responsible for contacting visitors to the church who have a Titusville address, giving them information about the church and answering any questions they might have. The team also provides “Welcome Bags” to new church members as well as organizing the annual New Member Reception each March. This ministry maintains a tract rack containing evangelistic tracts for all ages in the church foyer.

ANNUAL NEW MEMBER RECEPTION

On Sunday, March 21, the Annual New Member Reception hosted by the Evangelism Team will take place in Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. All who have joined our church since April 2009 will be recognized. Each of the honorees will be presented a corsage or boutonniere and will wear a special name tag. Please plan to attend this special occasion and offer your personal welcome to each of these new members.

EASTER DINNER

With the Lenten season now upon us, perhaps it’s time to decide where to dine on Easter Sunday. Please consider sharing dinner with your church family by attending the potluck dinner hosted by the Evangelism Team. Menu includes ham and lamb garnished with raisin sauce and mint jelly, rolls, desserts, and beverage. Potluck attendees will provide the additional dishes. Dinner will be served at 4 PM in Fellowship Hall. A free will offering will be taken that afternoon.

Dinner reservations will begin on March 7 and continue through Palm Sunday, on March 28. Sign-up in Fellowship Hall after the Sunday services or contact the church office weekday mornings. Sign up a whole table or join a table and indicate the dish you wish to share with your table. Volunteer opportunities to bake, cook, decorate, set-up, serve, and clean-up also available!
