The Bells of Praise began with the inspiration of Linda Eisemann in 2017. After ascertaining that there was quite a bit of interest, the Board of Directors purchased a three octave set of Malmark Bells. Nancy Reinish, with 30 years of experience, was chosen to be the Director. Practice began in May 2018 with the first performance in October 2018. In November 2018 the church purchased an additional three octave set of choir chimes. As we grow in membership, in the winter, we can add chimes to accommodate additional ringers. In the summer, we change the music repertoire for only a few ringers. Our music selections reflect the dynamics of the group and the multiple techniques of bell ringing. No matter our size or music, our mission remains the same…”To Glorify God Through Our Music.”
The Bells of Praise meet for practice on Thursdays at 2 p.m. in Fellowship Hall and play during one or two Sunday Worship Service each month as well as for special services such as on Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday.
