The North Brevard Charities Sharing Center
Angels don't always have wings Helping each other...one hand at a time
The North Brevard Charities Sharing Center is a nonprofit, United Way-supported agency dedicated to helping the low income, homeless, aged, and all others in need in Brevard County.
They were organized in 1958 and charted by the state of Florida in 1988. The Sharing Center is a nondenominational organization supported by donations from churches, private businesses, civic and fraternal clubs, United Way, and private citizens. This is supplemented with sales from their Thrift Shop.
The North Brevard Charities Sharing Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Their goal is to ensure that this organization positively touches the lives of as many people in need as possible who might otherwise fall through the gap. The mission is to fill in the gap and provide emergency assistance to those individuals and families who may not otherwise qualify for assistance through other agencies. The Sharing Center helps them to overcome barriers that may jeopardize their livelihood.
